We have a Yours, Mine, Ours blended family. It has been 6 1/2 years and it can be extremely hard on everyone especially the kiddies. We do our best to help them through any confusion and challenges and let them know that they are loved and supported by all their parents.
The biggest challenge is protecting and sheltering them from conflict and disagreements between parents. It's a constant struggle to rise above it and lord knows I have let those stressful situations get the better of me. I am definitely not perfect but we do our best. All I can say is that it is a constant learning experience about ourselves, the kids and others. However difficult it can be, I wouldn't change it for the world. I have a beautiful family that I love very much and our kids love each other as if they were born into the same family.

Blended Families~My New Blog
I'm new to blogging and had just started a previous blog Suburban Chic but I found that I have so much to blog about it was getting too complicated. So here I am, starting another blog only this time it's about me and my family. I have a Yours, Mine...Ours blended family. My loml (love of my life) and I have been together for 6 1/2 years. We each have a child from our previous marriages and we have our beautiful little boy together. Everyone always asks us how we manage such a hectic schedule. I don't think that we are any different from any other modern day family, other than we have to factor in our exes (which is a whole other blog in itself) We have our wins and challeges just like everyone else. Hope you can relate to this blog in some way or another or at the very least that it provides you a break in your day ~ enjoy!
